Project 52
Project 52–Week 14
This week’s theme is “Machines.” Today we went to Tons of Trucks and saw tractors, firetrucks, police cars, everything! Even though it was cold and rainy the kids still had a great time, and we finished up with hot cocoa at home.

Project 52–Week 13
This week’s theme is “Monochromatic.” I’m using the term loosely here.
Here is my photo. We re-did our kids’ rooms this week and this is a shot of Audrey’s new bookcase/study area. And yes, that is a gorgeous Anne DeJong print there. I’m holding Anne responsible for the room re-dos, because when I got her prints in the mail I just *had* to decorate the rooms to match them. LOL

Project 52–Week Twelve
This week’s theme is “Many.” My husband and I both love to cook, and we’ve amassed quite a collection of cookbooks over the years. These are some of our favorites.

Project 52–Week Eleven
Don’t you just love black and white photographs? I love the drama it can give to an ordinary moment. This week’s them is “black and white.” You can either take a photo and convert it to black and white, or you can take a photo of something that is black and white to begin with.
Here’s mine:

Project 52–Week Ten
Wow, I can’t believe we are up to week 10 already! This year is flying by! This weekend we are celebrating my son’s fifth birthday, so the theme this week is “celebrate.”
Here’s my photo:

And I’ve got a little freebie for you. Click to download it at full size.
Have a happy week! Enjoy celebrating your every day moments!
Project 52–Week 9
This week’s theme is “you’re so creative.” Today my kids were playing outside and they gathered up a bunch of sticks to make a house. I’d like to think it’s a “tree sculpture.” LOL

And here’s a freebie for you for playing along. Click the image to download the full-size version.
Project 52–Week 8
This week’s theme is “Yum.”
And these are my boys enjoying some bacon on our front steps. They were so happy to be playing outside that they didn’t want to come in for a snack, so I brought it to them. I thought it was so funny that they just sat on the steps chewing away. LOL

And I’ve got a freebie template for you. Click on the image to download.
Have a great week!
Project 52–Week 7
With Valentine’s Day coming up on Saturday, we’ve got pink and red fever around here. Pink makes me happy, and red makes me happy. So when the two are together, I’m in love! Last night we baked a bunch of cookies and cut out paper valentines for all of the kids’ friends. They had tons of fun. So for our P52 theme of the week, what could be better than “Love”?
Here’s my take on the challenge, a photo of some of the results of our efforts last night.
And I’ve got a little gifty for you, too. Download here.

Project 52–Week 6
This week’s theme is “play.” And every who plays along with us this week gets a free Lightroom preset. You can grab it here.

Project 52–Week 5
Do you know what I love most about Project 52? It’s so hard for me to get behind! I’ve actually found myself taking more photos than I used to and even if the end of the week is approaching, I can still take just a couple of seconds to snap a quick shot of something. As we start week five, I am really enjoying seeing how these bits and pieces, these little glimpses into our every day lives, come together to make something wonderful. I hope that you all will join me in this week’s challenge.
Our week 5 theme is “In Progress.” It can mean whatever you want it to mean. Maybe you have a project you are working on, or you are in school working towards getting a degree, or maybe you see yourself as a “work in progress.”
This is my photo for the week. I’m working on making three dolls for some little girls who have birthdays next month.

Like the frame I used? You can get it for free here! It’s my little gift to you for participating this week. It comes in .png and layered .psd formats, in case you want to use it for another week, too.
I can’t wait to see your take on the challenge!
