I so know how you feel, Aja. Being on a different continent than the rest of our family, doing all by ourselves is sometimes too much to handle. But I appreciate the change we've got and I try to enjoy every day to the fullest.
Beautiful post, you always make me stop and think. Thank you!

Aja, it's uncanny just how much your thoughts here on your blog reflect my struggles/triumphs. It's incredible how the good things in life can become snares that squeeze the life out of you if you allow too many of them into your lap. I am still working to narrow down things to the core so the unhurried life will yield to wisdom and to hearing the still, small voice of God in all that I do and experience. Seeing the beautiful(and seeing His fingerprints on all things) is hard to do when you're late to the next item on the agenda....

Keep sharing, sister! I absolutely gobble it up.

(And I would love to read the Not So Fast book myself)

Great photos.

Great reflections on a slow childhood.

And great inspiration from your life today for how to say no ... and how to say "yes" to refreshing, replenishing, relational moments.
